Vincent Barbaras has contacted other Barbaras researchers and Barbaras families throughout France and beyond, organizing their genealogical data into the database, currently containing over 2200 names, that is included here. His grandfather is from Henridorff, in the Lorraine region. In 2005, a French newspaper, The Latest News from Alsace, published an account of the reunion of the Henridorff branch of the Barbaras family.
