The many friends of Nick Barbaras, 73, were shocked and grieved to learn of his sudden death from a heart attack at his home in Preston at 11:45 last Sunday forenoon. He was sitting in a chair in the living room of his home when the end came. His death was discovered a few minutes later when his wife went to the living room to join him.
